Does the crank pulley/belt gear have a woodruff key? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

It does. Interesting point, you think that the impact gun could damage the keyway?

Just checked. The rear timing belt pulley and the sensor ring are keyed. The front auxiliary drive belt pulley, which the bolt is tightened against, is not keyed. So I think any hammering action against the key may be limited?

Couple of pictures, might help someone with they're cam belt change.

A method I devised for using an analog dial gauge when there's nothing to set it against.





& don't use the Neilson flywheel holding tool. Bloody thing snapped & it was only by the grace of god that the bits didn't fall inside the clutch bell housing. Which would have been a disaster!
