AT/MT Tyres on 19" rims

So I know this has been done previously, but I've just come back to FL2 ownership after a break in Jeep and Audi country.

My recent change was from a 2017 A4 Allroad to 2014 Metropolis from a local dealer up here in Cumbria.

It may seem odd, but I find it a far better and more pleasurable car to be in. Having previously owned at least 10 LR's of all hues, I know to expect gremlins and have already had an intermittent electric window glitch.

Anyway, I used to own a new HST in 2008 ish and fitted Goodyear MTR onto my 19 inch wheels. It was tight, but I had no problems. I believe they were 255/55/19, but reading some other feedback I'm now doubting my memory.

I want to have a good AT tyre (not MTR this time) but am struggling finding obvious matches for R19.

Anyone out there have any experience?

No personal experience, but lots of FL2 owners on here running A/T tyres seems to swear by General Grabber AT3s:

I recently put 255/55/19 Hancook Dynapro ATR's on and no rubbing. Very happy with them. On the other Freelander I have 255/60/18 Pirelli Scorpion ATR's also no problems and nice ride. 2013 SD4 SE (hers)

Pirelli is a good shout and we have a manufacturing plant up here in Carlisle.

I wonder if our local tyre co would fit them for me to try........hmmm
