Jaguar J-Pace to use Defender Platform

Not sure if this has been covered by forum, but it looked interesting.

I think it will be a bigger SUV.

Looks to me that JLR is in danger of confusing the market and having models competing against each other. In the old days Jaguar was a sports car or a big cruiser for the bosses and now it seems to be overlapping with the LR 4x4 models. I am confused already with all LR models looking the same. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The Velar is an F-Pace in a party dress, but they both find their own market.

The MLA platform will underpin every model in the JLR range, the Defender is the first to get it. So to say it’s defender based is a bit misleading. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
