actually normally visible by a tin or metal gasket.
Some MOt testers just choose to ignore ( god knows why as its there to reduce NOx) but action is a foot behind the scenes so the future will be interesting.
Its only been in the MOt since 21st May 18 Jaguar x-type sport gone

Not me.

http://www.m.icopal-noxite.co.uk/nox-problem/nox-pollution.aspx

Illegally high NOx levels are not only a serious health and environmental issue, but are a large part of the reason for the current backlash against diesel. A backlash which will now affect ALL diesel drivers Sad

If you’ve ever had to wait for the paramedics to arrive, while an asthmatic family member is fighting for every breath, you’ll probably appreciate that this isn’t academic Thumbs Up

Over on the FFRR forum this mod is done by just about everyone (or so it would seem) with a vehicle out of warranty.....no doubt also on the D3/4 forum also......

An EGR system should work seamlessly for the life of a vehicle, unfortunately not all EGR systems are equal Confused Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
