United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

Hi Sid

Current mileage is 115,000 (currently doing 1,000 miles a week) but reading other posts on here mileage is no indicator of when a bearing is likely to fail. Some had had issues at much lower mileage, others have greater miles than me and have had no issues

England 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 Sport Auto Barolo Black

Has anybody else had the Grabber GT's fitted to their FL2 ? I've been looking at some myself for my worn and noisy Pirelli Scorpion Verde all seasons . Theres not as big a selection in 19" tyres as what there was for my previous FL2 which had 17's on which I had some Pirelli Scorpion Atr's fitted to which I really rated .

Mark 2009 FL2 TD4 SE (Sadly gone)
2007 FL2 TD4 GS (The wifes , gone after 8 great years)
2012 FL2 SD4 SPORT LE(Gone and missing it)
2015 DISCOVERY SPORT 2.2SD4 HSE (For now ?)
2014 Ford Bmax 1.0 ecoboost ( Gone but what next )
2014 Ford Focus 2.0tdci Zetec S

If your not off-roading and just need a road base tyre the Avon zx7 is a good buy for the 19" and is A rated for wet weather. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

I’ve recently put a set of General Grabber GTs onto the Freelander, 235/65/17 108V XL M+S

So far (about 1,000 miles) so good.

They are quieter than the Continentals, seem to grip well wet and dry, and have good steering feel and comfort.

I’ve got a set of winter tyres and wheels in case of severe weather, but I might leave the GTs on into the winter months just to see how they perform?

Just popped a set of General Grabber AT3s onto the D4 yesterday.
Not had chance to evaluate them yet, but certainly didn't hear any extra road noise on the way home.
But they do look purposeful and they're getting great write ups. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.
