Forget all your ideas about keeping some car keys dry, what you really need is your key implanted into your hand.

Put it in a condom and tie up the open end and stuff it down your trunks. Condom can be re-used after for another purpose!

Have you tried breaking a condom open with wet hands?

This seems like a good idea, it would be relatively un-noticed hung on the rear securing loop of the FL2.

Check your insurance limitations though about leaving key with car.
PS What amazes me is that over many years of having loan / hire cars when my company car was in a garage, most of them I have been asked to leave it parked in a public place, with the keys on a wheel or up the exhaust ready for collection.
I don't believe any of them went astray. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
