New 265 60 18 Geolandar GO15

If you read my post on my suspension upgrade and lift kit, you'd have seen I had fitted Evoque 18" rims with standard 235 60 18 Yokohama Geolandar GO15's which looked a little lost in the now vast looking arches.
Well today, I had a set of the same tyres , but in 265 60 18's instead. I must say, what a difference they've made to the look and height. They are more planted on the road (obviously) and give the Freelander a more meaner stance when looked from the front or rear.
Some pics for comparison, before and after:

Fronts rub slightly on full lock , probably due to the tread pattern. I anticipate once they have worn slightly, this won't happen.
I was going to go up to 265 65 18 which will physically fit, but the wheel arch liners would need to be removed and the bottom of bumper and the lower wing trim would also need modifying. I do have a future front and rear bumper mod in the pipeline which will totally do away with the HST body kit and give a far better approach and departure angle than the standard bumpers.

What lift kit did you mount? Your Freelander looks great, in those pictures looks really high compared to other pictures of lifted Freelanders.
I just ordered a Moddy Mods 50mm lift kit so I'm excited to jack up the Freelander.

Octav, it's the Muddymods kit. 50mm rear 45mm front. So you won't be disappointed !
Please post here when you have the kit fitted.
