Reverse wheel Spin

Slightly delayed reaction considering the pathetic weather now, but hey ho! Has anyone else experienced problems trying to reverse up a slope in snow / ice? My driveway is very steep and whilst the car has no issues going forwards, it got stuck a couple of times in reverse. I can only assume the coupling and turque splitter does not work in reverse? Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Should work in reverse. Mine reversed ok in the snow going up a fairly steep slope.

i have a sloping drive, covered in ice and fresh snow, set car to snow/grass and reversed up, his a little patch of ice and wheels spun, cars electronics kicked in and just kept going

When pulling back up the hill a few days later on the road (again a hill) with the car half on the clear road and half on a iced over footpath. no problems there either

Did notice same situation in normal mode enduced more wheel spin, going forward or backwards Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks for comments. Could well have been I had the car in normal mode when reversing as the main road was clear. I suppose it doesn't help my driveay is like a cliff either Thumbs Up Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass
