3.2 Overdrive Pulley for Alternator and A/C, water pump, PS

All,

I wanted to create a reference for the part numbers of the Over drive pulleys.

The 3.2 inline six cylinder has two over drive pulleys

For those that don't know that overdrive pulley is a one way clutch and it allows the accessory to spin freely when the engine is decelerated.

Alternator over drive Pulley

Part numbers for the Alternator over drive pulley

FORD 6G9N-10D311-AB
LAND ROVER LR025968
VOLVO 30750109
VOLVO 31316804
Continental Elite 49923
Littens 535 0175 100
INA 535 0175 10
Gates K0EG2
ACDelco K0EG2

The second overdrive pulley is the

A/C, Water Pump, Power Steering Pump Over Drive Pulley

The part numbers for this overdrive pulley are

INA 535 0195 10
FORD 6G9N-6A312-AE
FORD 6G9N-6A312-AF
LAND ROVER LR004305
LAND ROVER LR005993
VOLVO 30750929
VOLVO 30777744
VOLVO 31316803

And here is a typical tool needed for removal and install

And if you want to find out more information about overdrive pulleys here is INA's website

The reason that I am posting this is because the AC compressor on my 2010 S80 (same engine as my 2008 Land Rover) the compressor died and the overdrive pulley was broken as well

Take care

Paul

Edit: the purpose of the pulley is to reduce the load on the A/C compressor or alternator. For my S80 the failed pulley may have shortened the life of the AC compressor. But I have no actual proof. I did notice that the belt for the A/C now moves very easily in one direction and not at all in the other. I checked my Land Rover and it doesn't move in either direction. I will need to buy another pulley and get to work on my LR2.
