The Zagato was very ugly when it was launched. With some designers having pushed back the boundaries of what is achievable with ugly over the last 20 years, it’s not as ugly as it once was; it’s more bland kit car, than plain ugly, now.

The Lagonda mat be one of the silliest cars ever built but, if you parked it next to modern exotica, it would still stand out as outrageous and interesting
