Missing DAB

Hi all, greetings from a dinosaur who has just purchased is FL2! A small issue has arisen in that the FM/Digital button on the premium audio unit reveals only FM1 and FM2. DAB doesn't appear anywhere. Noticing that there is a DAB fuse in the boot I assumed that this might have failed - it hasn't. While this is only a minor problem, if it is there then I would like it to work. Any useful suggestions please?

You do not have DAB.

I thought that I had. I didn't. Silver 2009 HSE

The digital tag is that the radio is digitally tuned. Catches lots out.

Well, it sure as hell caught me out! The DAB fuse being present caused me confusion, as I said originally, and I wonder what it is meant to be protecting? Thanks for the replies, guys.

The fuse is there protecting the circuit that would supply the equipment that hasn’t been fitted because it wasn’t originally specified. The major wiring loom components, ie fuse boxes, are the same across the model range so there will be wiring and fuses for equipment not on your car. You didn’t think they’d pay someone to fit the fuses individually did you? They are all in the fuse box when it’s installed.
