2012 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Timing Belt Kit from Peugeot 508 2.2

Hi guys

My mechanic was chaging timinig belt for an evoque 2.2 TD4 ... he used a Kit from Peugeot 508 2.2 HDI which is strictly identical to the one for freelander 2 ... he says he always used this peugeot kit for plenty of Freelander 2 and Evoque

The facts :

Genuine Kit from Peugeot + water pump ~ 100 £

Genuine Kit from LR + water pump ~ 250 £

The water pump from Peugeot is £91 + VAT on its own...

Not where I live ... the price is about 100£ the whole kit from peugeot
