So i’ve managed to unclip the leather gaiter on the handbreak. But, how do I pull off the ‘sleeve’ on the handbreak so I can remove and replace the gaiter does it just pull or do I need to find a little clip under the end where it joined the gaiter?

Wiggles around and couldn’t find a clip.

Saw a RR one with a little clip but that was leather and you could move the end, this is more plasticky (if that is a word)

I could remove the old one without taking the handle off but I need to, to put the new one on which doesn’t have a stretchy end.

When the old one was off just had to rip it off it’s Plastic mount as it was glued on, then scraped off the old leather stuck to it, and sanded it. gluing the new one on will be fun. Slowly. and carefully one side then let it dry before tackling the second side. 2010 Freelander2 TD4_e GS
