It’s good to see but it’s still far too expensive, it’s in the high road tax category, my Velar is cheaper to run when you take in the additional £10k price spec for spec, it would take me 8 years to recoup that in fuel savings. I would like to try one though. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Also in yesterday's news which I don't know how to get on here was that some new tests have proven the some LR diesel is actually cleaner than Renault Clio and the like Very Happy If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Yes I read that report - the Discovery 3.0TD6 is 20 times cleaner in terms of NOx output than a Clio diesel. I wonder how they will justify the tax on it now that myth has been blown out of the water?! Shocked
