I am no expert but surely these two Freelander adverts are incorrect?? Question

Just because a car is imported from Japan, why should it be less road tax in the UK than any other 3.2? Dig the crazy wing mirror on both Rolling with laughter

Imported vehicles and others such as ex mod vehicles which are being registered for the first time with DVLA are normally always taxed by the DVLA as PLG based on engine size and do not take any account of emissions, details of which are not always available. Thumbs Up

those wing mirrors were law in Japan IIRC, seen them on plenty of imported Shogun/Pajero and Nissan Surf.

think it was something to do with blind spots
