FL2 breaking for spares

On Ebay

I Know the market is a bit flat for second hand 4x4s but some one appears to be breaking a 08 reg Fl2 for spares.

Something fishy eh?

What is weird is that they're selling rear bumper and boot, all four doors, as well as front bumper and bonnet.

How the Censored would you write off an 08 freelander, without damaging either the front, rear or sides.

Sounds very fishy Evil or Very Mad

OUCH!!! Embarassed Its going in next week for a five day attempt at fixing the knocking noise (attempt number 2 from 2nd dealer, gave up after 3 attempts from 1st dealer!), as well as having the drivers seat replaced coz it is loose and the new cabin heater installed. Thumbs Up

How much damage can flood damage cause????

Surely selling it as a CAT D write off would yeild more cash than breaking it up??

I might find out where that flood was - it has brought those black tyres up a treat!! Perhaps the photo has been copied from somewhere else - I cant see any insurance company writing off as perfect as it looks (unless the flood was about 10 foot deep??????)
