xenon Headlamp adjustment

Ok the dark nights are coming, I am driving a FL2 13 plate with the self leveling xenon headlamps, I'm thinking the lamps are out of alignment because of the number of times I get a car coming towards me giving me full beam and seeing signposts way up in front illuminated, would like to rein them in a tad before I melt somebody's eyeballs or worse. Cool any answers? TIA

You will light up road signs and get flashed if on main beam. What about when on dipped beam? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

There's physical adjusters for horizontal and vertical on the light units - light grey allen key holes.

They should be fine if it's gone through an MOT though.

Setting them level height-wise is pretty easy. Stand 10m in front and stoop down and each light will have a critical point where it dazzles. Just set them even.

Up to a point on a wall they look ok, it's just past this point where they go awry. Thanks for the info on the screw points.

I’m an MOT tester and when I fitted a set of later xenon lamps on my FL2 (non-self levelling) I set them up on our headlamp aligner. I started getting flashed by oncoming cars at night. Then I realised, I had set the lamps up with an almost empty fuel tank. Filling the tank made enough of a difference to the headlamp aim. I reset them with a full tank and all was fine. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

when you retro fit Xenons to a FL2 that previously had manually levelled Halogens, does the manual levelling still work on the zenons ? i.e. when you scroll the wheel by the light switch. 0/1 setting is for driver/front passenger and 2/3 when loaded in the back
