So having taken off the inner wings to clean up behind them and Waxoyl I find the sealing strip below, about 9" long at the NSF wheel and slightly curved.

I would say not the rear trims Martyn thanks as I have 4 of those still and they are all the same length. Do the fronts have 2 each as well as I have longer ones for each side at the front but only one like that shown. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I looks like a front piece to me. It goes on the leading edge of the wheel arch |

In the light of day I have been back out to re-look and I an convinced its not the wheels arch it goes on as its also much narrower.

I have a box( boxes?) of "come in handy" bits, in which to put the items that I seem to have left over following my 'expert' dismantling and assembly.
