| dorsetfreelander Member Since: 20 Jul 2013 Location: Dorset Posts: 4363      | Talking to my brother over the weekend and he has just traded in his 2.5 yr old Honda Civic diesel for a new Honda Civic  1 litre 3 cylinder petrol turbo which apparently performs very well .  He normally buys a new one every three years.  Apparently his local Honda dealer called him with a story that they want to move people onto petrol models and have great offers (probably means they had a buyer already for his car and wanted to shift it quickly).  They did make him a very good deal and the salesman said that the dealership hadn't sold a new diesel for several months.   Add to that the news this morning that Nissan is to stop making diesel engines shortly and I wonder where JLR is going? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
