Listing suggests its for Fl2 dvd-based satnavs, 2006-2012. That suggests it wouldn't work in a 2013 plate onwards? |

Thanks Sidthecat for pointing those details out. I'll have to a bit of research, just got a MY2015 SD4 Metro, which I'm guessing updates from the CD/DVD drive in the fascia. As yet have no idea about update compatibility. |

You cannot update a 2015 hard drive system via the CD/DVD drive it can only be updated via USB.

OK thanks EYorkshire and rchrdleigh. Having looked into it I can see that mine is hdd based. I also use Sygic for real time route info so I’m guessing that I’ll bide my time until a more recent usb update is available for the FL2, if ever. Cheers, |

There are USB updates out there but the all seem to be about £170 and are VIN specific,
