We just arrived back in Southampton from the middle of France.
Overnight, Montluçon via Paris and Channel Tunnel, a shade under 1000km.

Left at 20:00 arrived back 08:00, 2 hour wait at Calais only hold up last 2 miles on M27...

On Sunday, as part of North West 4x4 Response, we were asked by Cumbria police to try to reach 12 stranded vehicles on the Brough to Middleton in Teesdale road. Thankfully the Highways Agency sent a snow blower and a 6 wheel drive snow plough to bash through the 4ft+ snow drifts. We eventually helped 7 stranded vehicles back down to Brough. Freely on winter tyres performed flawlessly as expected Smile

Caught the car ferry from Civitavecchia to Barcelona; now ensconced in Lllafranc for the next week or so. Mileage now about 1800m since last Wednesday. So far included; Dijon, Matterhorn, Venice, Pisa, Barcelona.
