New Tires

Spring is around the corner and I'm looking for recommendations on all season tires. I'm going with 20inch replika rims with 255/45r20.

Scotland 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

Akmega, unless you are aiming on using it for the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, then why have 20 inch wheels and 45 profile tyres? Comfort and all-round ability will surely be better with smaller wheels and larger tyres? 2010 model year FL2 TD4e GS - now at 117,000 miles, 37,000 of them mine.

Some Freelander owners in Australia go to the extreme. I just don't see the point on our roads down under!

I just ordered some BF Goodrich Urban Terrain, they get good reviews and I hear that make is popular in the US.

@akmega,

Don't recommend going with replica's. Find some Evoque or Discovery Sport 20's that will fit without problems. Plenty available in the greater Toronto area (GTA).

Nice Job. On both the new rims and the caliper paint!

For maintenance. Recommend getting the new Rim's sealed (non ceramic coated) If you haven't already.
Switching to Ceramic brake pads also helps a lot.

Summer is almost here, I filled my A/C two years ago and today it seems to be out again. What would you recommend.

Can't help with A/C. Haven't had to do my AC yet. Mine still blows cold.

What is the clearance with the rear strut? I only have 4.4mm with 255/60 R18 https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic32292.html Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
