I think this has been raised before but with the cold weather every morning that I start my FL2 the satnav screen is really dull, so much so you can hardly make out anything on the screen. It does go back to normal after a while but I recall someone saying that this happens because it is cold, has anyone else had similar problems with the screen in this cold weather? Might ask the stealer to look at it when i get my new drivers seat fitted end of the month Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

Thats quite normal and the colder it gets the darker and longer to brighten up it takes |

I asked the dealer about the same problem and all they did was turn up the brightness so that it was then unusable at night due to the dazzle - so I set it back to normal and haven`t bothered since. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

Mine will not even come on in the cold - it takes about 10 minutes to warm up before the touch screen responds - stealer unable or unwilling to remedy. What to do ?

I have had the faded sat nav screen problem also. I find it better not to have it set on auto brightness. However I would like to know where the sensor is to monitor the brightness in the car.

Yepp. If the car is cold, you can hardly see the screen. But after a while when the car is warmed up, it should work as normal. I experience this every day. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack. |
