There is a problem. I do not have a greatly sloping driveway but I do tow a caravan and often reverse it in to position. No problem at all, the throttle response is smooth and controlled, without any lurching or snatch.

i do sometimes find you need to allow a few seconds for gear to engage in the auto,........ so put it into gear (D or R), pause, then apply the gas |

Yes I have noticed that both of my FL2s have been hard to reverse on sloping surfaces, especially if you are in a tight space and need a bit of finesse.

I noticed reversing the caravan uphill onto a pitch can be a little jerky, fine any other time. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

sounds like mine, reversing of the sloping drive way, apply throttle doesn't move apply more moves, take off gas asap etc
