It sounds possibly a loose heat shield but not doing it over rougher roads is a puzzle. |

Could be a snapped spring. Mine lost just half the bottom coil on a front spring and the bit that snapped off was just sat in the cup rattling about. Might be worth a check. |

A common cause of suspension rattle on many cars is wear in joints of the the anti roll bar links. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

Air vent on LH side, there is a bolt behind it that needs checking for tightness I believe. Doing a search will / should find the info. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
