2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

20" 5 Spokes anyone?

Irmscher have been a partner for GM for over 40 years makig styling and tuning parts for Vauxhall and Opel even for production cars for GM.

In recent years they have started doing work with Volvo and Peugeot. As our FL2's run on Volvo S80 running gear, Irmscher do an 8.5 x 20" wheel, which is ET45 and PCD 5 x 108 so a direct fit.

These can be ordered through a Volvo dealer, but if anyone is interested then let me know as I have direct access to Irmscher UK and get dealer buy prices.

Once in, click Antara on the top bar
Then click the Antara Picture
Then click the light alloy wheels tab in red
4th one down is Evostar design, click this and take a look, this is for Antara 5 x 110 but the design is the same as whats available for Freelander. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

if these wheel are the correct loading, your going to be mad putting them on the FL2 they are ugly

They look better in the flesh with tyres on to be honest, and they suit dark coloured cars better. Not 100% my cup of tea, but another option for members. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

The Antara is not a bad car. Have you ever driven one? They are not a bad design, the interior is very well put together and quite a funky style. Off road they are also better than alot of the competition in the same price sector, Rav4, X-Trail etc.

The only downside is the engine, the 2.0 CDTi they use, although it is 150PS, is a korean sourced unit as the same engine goes into the Chevrolet Captiva (Another pretty good car) is a bit flat and crude. Shame it did'nt have the 1.9 CDTi engine as fitted to the rest of the Vauxhall range, this is a better engine than the FL2's unit.

The Antara is having major changes this year, the new Insignia's 2.0 CDTi is going in with 160PS and 190PS twin turbo. This is a development of the 1.9.

OK, it's not in the same leaugue as the FL2, but it is a very good car. But I think that by putting in this old 2.0 engine has done the car alot of harm.
