| Steve D Member Since: 19 Jan 2013 Location: Essexshire Posts: 4109    | It’s always been mentioned on here that the timing belt on the TD/SD4 is done on the 'big' 10 year/150,000 miles service. I seem to remember reading that the Discovery 3 V6 TDI 2.7 'big' service timing belt change is 7 years/or around 120,000 miles. Perhaps your dealer is confusing the TD4 with that? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
