Code reader - ELM327?

Hi folks. What are people's thoughts on the ELM327 thingy for reading codes? Other forums seem to like them, what about us?

Ive had one for several years and have used it on a variety of vehicles (Skoda, Seat, BMW, Landrover) in conjunction with Torque Pro app on my android phone. Jules

I have the same. Seems to work OK. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE
