Finally got her off the road

Its taken me almost 9 months but finally got to take my little beast off the Tarmac..... nothing too crazy but still alot of fun!
Would love to know of any Mods anyone has done to make there Freelander 2 more Expedition friendly. Am i right in thinking the Diesel FR2 doesnt have a snorkel option Sad

Hi, there is no snorkel available. Search "Snorkel" and look for posts by CQR.

He has made one and made good use if it.

Hey there, do have Mantec sump/fuel guards installed.

I guess they'd be pretty handy...

Certainly worth fitting the tank guard if you're planning on more 'extreme' off roading.

I can see the need for the tank guard if there are likely to be situations where it could be damaged, but having changed the oil on our FL2 for the first time recently, don't they have a metal plate guarding the sump as standard?

Yes they do, though the Mantec guard is somewhat more substantial. Hence the reason it was fitted to the G4 vehicles.
