2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Aintree Green

[Free] Towing Electrics

I have, Free to anyone who wants it. the complete 12n-12s genuine LR towing electrics kit. It came off my 13 Reg HSE which I have converted to 13 pin.

It's complete with loom, brackets etc. I understand that on EPB cars its plug in and forget but on mechanical hand brake cars it need the car programming

If you want it for the cost of the postage please PM me 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep (Now gone)

Very straight forward . as long as your car has the EPB and a LR towbar. 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep (Now gone)

The electrics set is different for pre MY13 cars which will need 'programming'. Before trading my MY10 car in I removed the tow bar and the wiring set - the tow bar went straight onto my MY2013 but I had to buy a new electrics set (visibly different to previous electrics) which was fully plug and play.

Free electrics though, to anybody that can use them is an exceedingly generous offer.

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Galway Green

Its easy to modify from 12N & 12S to a 13 pin, having done this myself on both my Fl2's.
All you need to do, is purchase a replacement 13 pin socket, & rewire the two sets of cables into the one socket, then bind the two outer cables together with insulating cable, therefore avoiding removing the existing wiring connections & throwing up errors, & having to reprogram etc.
