Just bought a bottle off Amazon and it's arrived so I'll be applying it later. It gets good reviews on Amazon with customers noting that the wipers work better when needed and visibility all round is much better in the rain as the water just runs off easily.

Apply it sparingly and polish off with water, this helps prevent juddering.

Got both cars sorted and it's just started raining lightly. You can see the results as the rain just beads up on the surface and runs off. I also applied some to the headlight housing.

The secret to judder free wipers with rainx or longer lasting G1 is to make sure that all the excess is removed once it has cured. I use a terry toweling cloth to buff the screen.

It is ... BUT, it contains solvents, these dry out the plastic and they will prematurely age and crack, |

I've used rainx on the lenses of all my motorcycles and cars. Currently driving an 07 GS that I've owned for 7 years. The lenses are as clear as the new lens that has just been fitted (another story) on my wife's 15 plate Fiesta ST3. I'd be the first to complain if rainx had caused ageing or cracking. I really have a thing against any faults in lighting and don't understand how people can see where they are going or how they expect to be seen with faulty lights. |
