Wondering what I should get? My lr2 is only a lease though so would I be breaking my lease by putting on winter tires? From what I've been told, tires are better than chains but since I'm only gonna have my model for 1 more winter season, not sure if it would be worth it getting tires?

I live up in vancouver and will be taking meh lr2 to whistler and other ski areas, basically going up big mountains that have snow and ice on them. I noticed one ski resort last year had a 'snow chains required' sign, would they let me pass If I had the winter tires only?

Also, for the snow chains, would I need to put them on all 4 wheels or just 2 wheels?
