United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Zermatt Silver

No not a daft question I have not tried that yet but will first thing tomorrow.
It is both rear doors by the way, sometimes they work but mostly not.
Only 4 months out of warranty as well.

England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Auto Sumatra Black

I noticed with mine the door wouldn't open in really sunny weather. I guessed something must have been expanding in the heat. I squirted some lithium grease around the latch and spent a good ten minutes opening and closing the door. Its been fine all week now. I don't know if this is the same as yours but I could hear the motors working when pressing the fob, mine must have just been sticking. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

Is there an easy way to test if its the solenoid or some thing else with out stripping it?

Rear door locks fine but wont open.

Watching the latch from the seat it seems to struggle compaired to the working one.
