Low fuel warning

When I am getting mow on fuel the low fuel light comes on and I hear a beep beep. I assume this is normal not given it any thought before. Anyway is there anything else that causes the same beep beep? I heard it yesterday whilst driving but was not caused by low fuel.

Is it not a warning about outside temps below 4c accompanied by a warning light on dash ? MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

Happened to me the other day and I thought "here we go" but then looked down and it was 4 degrees so figured it must be that (BMW used to do it at 3). Then happened yesterday quickly looked down and it was the snowflake flashing next to 4 degrees. That's likely what yours is doing aswell

Was cold. Perhaps it has made the beep before and it just has not registered with me.
