TOWING INDICATOR LIGHT ON DASH?

hi all fellow tintenters Thumbs Up a question ref above,do they all have it on the dash?

Yes, when you have LR wiring a wee trailer flashes on the dash when you indicate. Thumbs Up .. strange at first as I was used to a buzzer Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

You will see a towing symbol when you use the indicators. Also you can tell it knows its there by the revesing sensors not sounding even though there is something there.

If you dont see that behaviour it might be because the trailer/caravan/float has LED lights rather than bulbs.... the stupid computer cant detect that there is something there unless its using about 20watts of power. The fix for that is a resistor wired in accross the indicator circuit to use a bit of power and tell the vehicle there is something there.

P38 v8 auto no problems,great howle from exhausts when giving it welly
Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car.
1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum.
2nd Tdv6 se auto epb
3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite.
