It all depends what you need transport for. A Nissan will have leaf springs on the rear and will give a poor ride on the road to any Landover; I know I have a Japanese pickup it is great for work but I have two FL2’s and when I don’t need the pickup I will use the commercial. Better ride better on fuel and nicer to drive that any of the 3 pickups I have own in the past 10 years |

The only pickups on my company car list are Nissan Navara, Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux these are over 2050Kgs and there is an issue with what speeds you can travel at on dual carriages ways. I think the legal limit for them is 60mph. Best to look into. |

Thanks Tigger I will have a look at this and others in Autotrader. Obviously low mileage, but £25K for a 2 1/2 year old car - not sure? Nice looking vehicle though, cost would be in budget, wonder what it would be worth in 4 years time - so 61/2 years old with est 75K on clock - £6 - 8K or less?? Also no warranty for most of the time.

Late FL2's have really hung on to their value since there was never a direct replacement.

Gone and done it! Decided on company leased Navara, head ruled over heart. It's going to cost me £150 per month in tax, fuel and a couple of lease extras. That's about £90 a month less than a DS according to my figures. Least it is going to give me some extra for my tr5 Disco spares! 1998 Feelander XDI Hardback - Gone

and probably a more sensible choice for a working vehicle than a DS Chelsea Tractor anyway. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

During my recent holiday I noticed the bulk of people are using dual cabs, how things have changed from an SUV, whether they are towing a caravan or not. I was the odd one out in an SUV. All the trades people are using them as well. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
