Some time ago it was stated on the forum that one was for the normal radio antenna and the other was for the DAB radio - originally I too assumed they were heating elements. |

TV needs two aerials, one front, one rear on apposing sides of the car to maximise the signal. Signal can be iffy at the moment until the digital switch over which in the anglia region is still another 3 years away!!!!!! |

I got the info from Landover’s Technical Site http://www.landrovertechinfo.com/extlrprod/index2.jsp? Dave kindly supplied the link originally in topic http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic2378-15.html and you will see I cursed him because I lost half a day just trawling the site and sourcing all the info I wanted. You have to pay for a subscription, but for 24 hours it wasn't expensive considering the technical info you get access to. I must say though I didn't get the whole workshop manual because it’s quite big, so I restricted what I printed to those areas I am likely to wish to work on myself. Cheers Chris |
