had a new clutch and flywheel fitted at main agents 4000mls ago and it seems to be getting very heavy to press,compared to any new car i have drove its 4 times heavier.the dealer said it would bed in when i pointed it out the day it was done but getting worse not better,in traffic on the motorway its a nightmare.causing me problems with my knee its that bad,no judder just very very heavy.
anyone have a manual who can comment.

That can happen with a reconditioned clutch compared to a new one. Either way, if it's too heavy, take it back as it's a faulty clutch. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

We have a manual 2007 2.2 diesel FL2 and had the clutch & fly wheel changed along with a service, timing belt and water pump back in early August this year whilst visiting family in the UK at this place http://www.mja4x4.com. They did a great job and much cheaper than it would have been over here, that was about 8000KM ago and the clutch has never been heavy at all.

I would advise taking it back to the place you had it done and get them to drive it to experience it and get them to investigate and fix it.
