Dip beam upgrade.

Hi

I want to change the standard H11 dip beam halogen bulbs for something brighter.

Any recommendations?

Regards

I just wouldn't bother. I've tried all sorts and you just end up replacing bulbs all the time. The last lot I had both exploded.

Nightbreakers only last 12 months if you're lucky.

My night breakers have lasted more than 12 months, and whilst they're not amazing, the are better. Changing bulbs is a realativey simple job and not going to break the bank so IMO worth spending a few quid on. Just so long as you're not expecting anything too miraculous

Nightbreakers or Phillips equivalent, The comment on lifetime is correct, they will not last as long as a standard halogen but that depends on how much you drive with the lights on. The last pair I bought were 24 quid delivered , I reckon I can live with that and 10 minutes work even if it is every 12 months. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
