2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Stornoway Grey

Ignition port fault

Can anybody help please. My key fob docking port is not working, I'm out with the car and I can't start it, there is no 'motorised' movement I put the key in and nothing happens, help much appreciated thanks

Are the other electrics working?
Could it be the battery in the fob?
Do you have any breakdown/recovery insurance? No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Yes electrics are working, I have just disconnected the live to see if it kicks into life when I reconnect

I'd try changing the fob battery first
