Make sure ignition is on without engine running, click belt buckle 10 times. hey presto!

Just checking, did you realise there are two levels of 'ignition on but engine not started'? If you just tap the button, it switches on a few interior systems. If you press and hold the button for a second or two (without the clutch in obviously) it seems to switch on everything it would have if the engine was to be started - exterior lights, electric seats, air-con etc. The seatbelt hack only works with everything on. It took me a couple of goes to notice the second mode. - Dick |

I've heard if you repeat the process it turns it back on. Not tried it yet on my freelander but I've turned off the chime on the D3 |
