England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Martinique Blue
My old FL2 on the telly

Watching channel 5 tonight 'Underground Britain' spotted our old FL2 during the piece about 'the mole of Edge Hill'.

Not many about in Martinique Blue, but we added the rear spoiler and the alloys, so no doubt it was ours.

Of all the Land Rovers we have owned, the Freelander never put a foot out of place.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

Helped do some filming underground (as in caving) many years ago with award winning Sid Perou (look him up on Utube). A lot harder then with a Bolex camera, film and the heavy batteries for lights and Electron Ladders. Sid used to drive the poor mans Land Rover, a Mini Moke.

He is still alive and well and lives in Thailand. Thumbs Up FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Yes it's a good feeling seeing your old car on TV. It was a bigger thrill for me however, when my old F1 V6 was featured on Cars That Rock with Brian Johnson.
Being both an advocate of the Race2Recovery team AND a giant AC/DC fan, I saw my car on the preview of the Land Rover episode and made sure all my mates watched it the following week.
Chuffed to bits. Seeing it doing what I built it for and Brian in it too........

Cool Cool

Coincidently, I saw our FL2 parked at the supermarket today. It was a shame to see that the new owner hasn't been as careful parking as we were and the wheels are now quite scratched.
