It depends how long you can wait to sell it. At the price you are asking it will probably take a while. I have just sold a 07 HSE, 38000 miles manual for £10000 privately in 3 days. Trade in price was roughly £10000-10600. I wanted to buy with cash at distance so sold it on ebay for low trade. It needed a service but nothing else. The autos are more popular than the manuals but I would say you are not far off independent forecourt price at the moment. Do a quick search on ebay/autotrader for your year and spec. Take £1500-2000 off the trade price and that gives you an indication of what the trade will give you for cash. If you want to sell quickly, I would drop the price or trade it in against whatever you are buying. Alternatively hang on in there-you only need one keen buyer to sell it. |

Have you advertised it elsewhere? (Apologies if you've already answered this question).

Now sold. Thanks for all the comments and support. Sold to a local lady via word of mouth. As an indication of values, I got £10,800 for it. I think they got a bargain but that is market force for you?!!
