Throttle body.

the throttle body is part of the inlet manifold system, it has a metal cover on it held in place with what looks like metal clips, when it starts failing you get a sort of whining when you switch the engine off as it gets worse the plastic cogs/wheels start to strip each other and and you can get allsorts of noises |
