now my home insurance want over £100 to add it to the policy, so is this best or go to specific cycle insurance company, one today quote £107 and cover seems quite good.

Will be riding it locally first to get the fitness levels up, been the wrong side of 40 I want to do something about it so though rekindle the MTB riding I did years ago

Plan is to get out all over the place once the fitness levels are as planned, I have been looking at a few maps, trials and apps and downloaded a few shorter ones to get me going, I have a Garmin GPSMaps 62s to download them too for a bit of guidance in what direction I should be heading

Just bought a new helmet, hydration backpack, shock pump, shorts, gloves, mudguard, just need to sort out a sold secure bike lock (silver level, but most likely gold) and a ground anchor to chain it up in the metal shed I have inside my garage. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

just finished giving it a coat of Collinite 475s wax too, great wax for Matt Paintwork and long lasting and chemical resitant so should be still on it once the Muc-Off cleaning kit has done its job. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I'm sure my bikes are insured on the house insurance as named items. I don't think they cost me any extra, but I'd have to ask the Mrs as she sorted it out and quizzed me on what they are are and cost. Mine are locked with a motorbike ground anchor into the wall with multiple locks between them.
