Changed the rears back seat from a non centre armrest to having a centre armrest - only swore twice, once getting it out and the other getting it in Rolling with laughter

Fitted a set of hekos £25 shipped from the e bay kinda like them will see how they last and on a day to day test

Dan

Noticed the rears were around the wrong way so swoped them over, the clips are a pig to get back out you have to try and twist them to stop the barb from digging in Thumbs Up Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Fitted new drivers door lock with my dad today, what a bloody pain in the arse that was!! Mad 3 hours later it was fitted and now working propley Smile The old unit was working but i think it just needs the locking motor cleaning but i thought it would be easyer to just change.

On another note the wind deflectors are already a pain as they get in the way when at roundabouts and side roads to the point i now have to move to look around them Rolling Eyes

Had a new windscreen fitted yesterday due to a large chip, there were
many other chips/damage so time to change, car only has 75k, must be the state of the roads.....at least it is a genuine LR item

and today ..........

1st MOT on Thursday, rotated and inspected wheels/tyres giving them a damn good clean both inside and outside surfaces. Getting MOT done before warranty runs out in a few weeks. Had a BMW that had only done 15,000 miles and it failed its first MOT on 2 cracked rims !

Took mine for its first MOT today - sailed through with no issues, which i suppose is only to be expected for a nearly three year old vehicle

couple of days ago (well just over a week actually but I had no data signal where I was) went for the longest drive yet in my latest FL2 from North Nottinghamshire down to Pirbright in Surrey on the Sunday and then back up on the Friday

Car was faultless all the way, auto box was a delight on the M1/M25/M3 down and then cross country to the M40 on the way back. Nice having the roof open too as the weather was good Very Happy

Average 36.8mpg as well which I was very pleased with. Thumbs Up

Isn't this no more than you would expect from any vehicle? Why do we seem surprised when our FL2s don't break down? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
