Brake upgrade

Has anyone fitted the caliper carriers and larger 316mm discs from the Petrol FL2's to their diesels?

I have never been overly impressed with the Standard 300mm Brakes before, and am considering upgrading. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but you can take a look at this upgrade with even bigger discs:

You even posted in that thread...

Thanks Alex! I forgot about that thread!

I have found a Company in the US that do a big brake conversaion for the Evoque! Surely this should be a straight swap over! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Don't take for granted that the Evoque has identical brakes to the Freelander 2.

I could find no crossover of part numbers between them.

You would be better off looking for a big brake kit to suit a Volvo or maybe a Ford Focus... 2008 Freelander 2 HSE Si6 Black/Black - Hers
