LED reversing light bulbs

Has anyone replaced the reversing light bulbs with LED ones

I am after more light when reversion and can us friendly

Hi

If you want more light than halogen original bulb you need some expensive led bulbs with lot of leds

like one of these

I put some LEDs into my D3. Unfortunately, pictures don't really do it justice, just how much brighter they are

They were not cheap, at £30 for a pair, but they make all the difference Thumbs Up
I even treated the wife's FL2 to a pair Thumbs Up

Advanced factors, site sponsor on here, do a range of LED upgrades

I got a set of LED for the reversing lights on my last FL2 which were a straight swap and made a huge difference to reversing at night Thumbs Up

Give Steve at advanced a call. I did. Helpful guy. £29 for reversing light bulbs which isn't cheap But what a difference! Like having headlights on the back. Well pleased!

I emailed not long ago with the same question, there is a VERY short distance between the bulb holder and the lens. So the usual offerings/fitments hit the lens long before the holder is in position! 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto
