2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Stornoway Grey

How much was your first year's or 12,000 mile service ?

I've been quoted £423.07 including VAT parts and Labour for a first years or 12,000 mile service from my local dealers.

Was just curious see how this price compared to similar service charges at other dealers round the country before I hand over my hard earned cash ? How much was yours and at which dealership ? 08 FL2 GS TD4 Auto, Stornoway Grey, Adaptive Bi-Xenons, Ebony Leather, Heated Front Windscreen/front seats

15k TD4 - £426 all in, at Guy Salmon Maidstone - See dealership feedback post.

Definately shop around and if they can do a "while u wait" make a longer journey to a non-local stealer.

that seems rediculous, around £300 is the norm.

£312 at Barretts Canterbury, that was a few months back mind you.
Thought that was a good price for the south east.

Hunters in Guildford (LR Sales and Service) quote £403, Guava (LR Service only) also in Guildford quote £276. Both with courtesy car so it pays to shop around. 08 Santorini Black HSE manual with DAB and privacy glass

My first service cost me £228.00. all in parts,labour, vat, collection/delivery of my car

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

Quoted 430 by Guy Salmon - they were doing a half price deal in Dec 08 - so it cost me 215 in the end for a simple oil service. problem is not sure if they did anything. Oil still looks dirty! (car has done 6.5K miles)
Hey Ho got the stamp for warrantly - maybe they will service it properly next time
