Mine only does it when hot - cold starts are perfect.

I did contact him a few months ago and all he said was to let him know who i had taken it to and he will chase it up. . So I did do on Friday but had no reply yet I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION

What's everyone's mileage on there car, maybe this is happening at a high mileage. Mines just under 90,000 I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION

150000 kms -93000 miles- on my si6 and have never had any starting problems hot or cold. The highest temperature I can remember was 42C and the lowest 2C, so quite a range but not as extreme as others I would think. In fact external conditions never seem to have any effect on the running of the car. Oil consumption is also virtually nil between 12000 kms services. |

So i have got my car back from Stratstone Bury and after the ECU update it DOES look like the problem has been fixed, question is for how long.

Fault Code is 'Hot Soak engine restart' It's on a LR bulletin sheet, so clearly LR are aware of it. Maybe not enough i6 owners to warrant a recall?

Yes it fixed my starting problem perfectly and after 19 months hasn't been a problem since - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement
